Registration gives you very little that you haven't got already except the warm glow that comes from knowing you have made a poor shareware developer a little happier and freedom from the growing delay that will accompany start-up as you use abc2nwc more.  This could be easily circumvented by any half competent hacker to whom I say  "Get a life.  Put your skills to a more useful purpose."  More importantly, there is much to be added to the programme and I will feel much more inclined to do it if I know I have a core of users who appreciate my efforts.  Future upgrades will be free to registered users but the entry price may go up if I feel the extra functionality is worth it.
